The Sustainable Work research unit is concerned with various aspects of people’s paid and unpaid work, including research on job quality, precarious employment, careers, new technologies, economic stress and interpersonal relations. We have a strong focus on the well-being and health consequences for workers while adopting a strong equity lens. Our research focus is at times local (e.g. companies), national or cross-national. The research unit applies a theory-grounded research approach adopting qualitative and quantitative empirical research methods.
