Theun Pieter van Tienoven
Biography
I am a part-time research professor and post-doctoral research fellow at the Vrjie Universiteit Brussel and currently located in Sydney, Australia. My research interests lie with the sociology of everyday life. More specifically, I conduct research on the temporal organization of society and daily life and anchor it internationally and locally through fundamental and applied social scientific research based on innovative methods of data collection and data enrichment.
Research topics of interest involve gender division of labour, gender equality, childcare, daily routines, scheduling of work, leisure, time pressure, well-being, and time-use methodology. I am co-founder of hbits CV, a spin-off of the VUB.
