We are happy to share a new blog post by Fatıma Silpagar and Tulya Su Güven, two of BRISPO junior researchers, reflecting on their experience at the 5th International Sociological Association Forum of Sociology in Rabat, Morocco.
From 6-11 July 2025, over 4,600 sociologists from 101 countries gathered to discuss the theme “Knowing Justice in the Anthropocene,” exploring pressing issues of justice through various global and local lenses. Fatıma and Tulya participated in a series of thought-provoking panels on migration, risk, social networks, and urban public space. Their reflections also capture the intersection of theory, methodology, and lived experiences, offering a window into the dynamic discussions that unfolded at the Forum.
