Fatıma Silpağar
Biography
In 2024, I started a new chapter in my life by joining BRISPO and VUB, adding to my diverse and dynamic professional and academic journey. I hold an MRes in Economics from European University Institute, Florence, and an MSc in Economics from Ludwig Maximilians University Munich.
My professional background ranges from internships in finance to the working in the kitchen of a circus. I believe all these experiences equipped me with a broad skill set, cultivated my adaptability and increased my openness to unconventional challenges.
Recently, I had the privilege of being part of a research team engaged in field experiments in the southeast of Turkey. This hands-on experience allowed me to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application, reinforcing my commitment to practical and impactful contributions.
I am a curious person by nature, a cat-lover and hoping to become a yogi. Whether over a cup of coffee or a quick chat, I am open to engaging, sharing experiences, and fostering new connections.
