We are pleased to share the publication of a new report, titled "The Impact of New Forms of Work and Organizations on Workplace Well-being" which explores the shift towards mobile work and hybrid work models within organizations across both the private and public sectors. This report was developed through a collaboration between researchers at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Christophe Vanroelen, Jan De Schampheleire, Jens Doms, Luna Lamberts) and Université libre de Bruxelles (Esteban Martinez, Aline Bingen, Meike Brodersen, Anne-Laure Mathy, Joséphine Guichard).
The publication is available in Dutch and French here.
This comprehensive analysis involved interviews and case studies in multiple organizations, examining how the transition to ICT-based mobile work was organized and the well-being impacts it created for employees. Hybrid working, where employees divide their time between the office and home, emerged as a dominant model across many organizations. The report synthesizes findings to extract actionable insights and concrete recommendations aimed at supporting organizations in addressing workplace well-being during these transitions.
