The optimalization of the use of the school year educational time

The aim of this project is to study the effects of length, timing, sequence and rhythm of educational and vacation time (on a yearly basis) upon the different aspects of the pupils' school careers and upon the efficiency and quality of the education provided. Although the emphasis lies on the recipients of education (i.e. the pupils), the second phase of the project will consist of a Delphi-research in which different actors in the educational field, including the providers of education, will evaluate our findings.
