Joachim Gotink
Biography
I hold a master’s degree in Sociology (Vrije Universiteit Brussel, 2021) and a bachelor’s degree in biomedical laboratory sciences (University College Leuven-Limburg, 2014). Before pursuing my master’s degree, I gained experience as a project engineer/manager in various pharmaceutical settings.
Currently working as a junior researcher at BRISPO, my research centers on social inequalities in health outcomes, with a specific focus on cancer. my work delves into understanding how various cancer indicators, including incidence and lethality, contribute to overall differences in cancer mortality. Through these studies, I aim to contribute to a more comprehensive and nuanced understanding of cancer, with the ultimate goal of informing and improving healthcare strategies.
