Iris Egea Quijada
Biography
I hold a Master's degree in Migration Studies from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. After graduation, I gained relevant experience as a Project Technician at a Barcelona-based NGO that fosters smooth migrant incorporation. My research explores the link between international migration in declining European rural areas and rural revival from a sustainable community perspective. I apply mixed qualitative methods from a comparative perspective. My interests coalesce with community cohesion, questions of race and ethnicity and postcolonial studies. Beside my research interests, I am a coffee and baking enthusiast and love nature and pottery.
