A new blog post, written by our colleagues Iris Egea Quijada, Shabnam Khezri, Anton Neronov, and Fatıma Silpagar from AIMSLab, has just been published.
The post reflects on the 2nd International Migration and Societal Change Conference, held in Utrecht on 19–20 June 2025. It offers insights from keynote lectures, diverse panel discussions, and a city tour that highlighted Utrecht’s migrant histories and contemporary realities. From debates on migrant categories and professional skills to reflections on urban change and everyday resilience, the blog captures how the conference opened space for dialogue on migration’s role in shaping societies.
