I graduated magna cum laude from the VUB in 2022 with a degree in sociology. My thesis delved into discrimination in sport clubs using correspondence tests, revealing that individuals with Moroccan-sounding names seeking to join training sessions were less likely to receive positive responses compared to those with Belgian-sounding names. This study has demonstrated how crucial it is to continue conducting research on discrimination. I am currently working on several research projects related to discrimination in the rental and labor markets.
