Public PhD defence of Leandros Kavadias will take place at the University of Groningen. Leandros' thesis, supervised by Bram Spruyt, Toon Kuppens, and Susanne Scheibe, is titled "Paradoxes of the schooled society: Investigating the centrality of schooling and its institutional effects from a global perspective". The thesis is a result of Leandros' FWO PhD Fellowship project 'The Schooled Society Index: Measuring the increased centrality of education and its societal consequences from a global perspective'.
