
The 2025 edition of the BRISPO lecture series: Prof. Alejandra Vives, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile | Extreme Heat at Home, at Work and in Between
Prof. Alejandra Vives is an associate professor at the School of Public Health of the Faculty of Medicine of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She is a medical doctor from Universidad de Chile, and holds a master’s degree in Public Health and a PhD in Biomedicine, Epidemiology and Public Health from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. She is dedicated to social epidemiology and the social determinants of health inequalities, with a focus on employment conditions and urban health, segregation, housing and urban regeneration.
