The lecture is a presentation of the PhD thesis of Leandros Kavadias titled 'Paradoxes of the schooled society: Investigating the centrality of schooling and its institutional effects from a global perspective'. The supervisors of the PhD thesis are Bram Spruyt, Toon Kuppens, and Susanne Scheibe.
