Biography
Wouter Ronsijn (°1982) is currently working at Ghent University and Brussels University (VUB), doing research on inequality, mortality and epidemics in the past. His focus is on rural history, demography and economic history. He is the author of Commerce and the countryside: The rural population's involvement in the commodity market in Flanders, 1750-1910 (2014) and co-edited Stocks, seasons and sales: Food supply, storage and markets in Europe and the New World, c. 1600-2000 (2019).
