Project: De-Conspirator: Detecting and Countering Information Suppression Framework
We are offering a volunteer Research Internship based at the AIMS Lab: AI, Migration and Society Research Unit of BRISPO, to join the EU-funded project, “De-Conspirator: Detecting and Countering Information Suppression Framework”. This project aims to develop advanced methodologies and tools to detect and counteract efforts of information suppression, disinformation, and foreign policy interference that impact European democratic processes. Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
• In addition to Excellent English skills, proficiency in one or more of the following languages is required: Russian, Ukrainian, Persian/Dari. Dutch and/or French is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in qualitative data collection and analysis.
• Strong interest in the study of disinformation, information manipulation, and foreign interference.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a team to implement research methodologies that address disinformation challenges.
• Participate in the collection and analysis of data to support findings and project outcomes.
• Contribute to the dissemination of research results and the development of countermeasures against information suppression.
