Misun Lim
Biography
Misun Lim is a sociologist studying the intersections of gender, work, family, education, inequality, and social policy using quantitative methods with a focus on cross-national comparisons and social demography. She currently serves as a Visiting Professor of Social Sciences at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) in Spain. She is also a Visiting Researcher at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center and the Brussels Institute for Social and Population Studies (BRISPO) at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Her research has been published in the European Sociological Review, Journal of Marriage and Family, and Social Science Research. Previously, she was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center and the University of Siegen. She received a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an M.A. in Sociology from Columbia University.
