Mariem Es Salhi

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology at the VUB. After completing my Master's degree in Sociology at the University of Antwerp, I further explored my interest in social inequality at KULeuven, earning an advanced master's degree in Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies. Currently, I am a predoctoral researcher on the SBO project “Primary Prejudice”. Building on my previous interest in boundary work, my current research focuses on the early development of cognitive processes of classification and their impact on the social interactions of young children.
