Biography
Mariem Es Salhi is a PhD candidate at The Brussels Institute for Social and Population Studies (BRISPO) and The Crime & Society Research Group (CRiS), working on the SBO-project Primary Prejudice. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Antwerp and an Advanced Master’s in Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies from KU Leuven. Building on her previous interest in identity and migration, her current research examines how children navigate intersecting identities in the school context of superdiverse cities and how these processes shape their social relationships.
