Manon Deryckere

I am a PhD candidate in the Unit of School Psychology and Development in Context at the KU Leuven. I obtained both my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and my Master’s degree in Sociology at the University of Ghent. This dual background is a reflection of my interests in both individual development and the ways in which individuals are affected by larger societal issues. I am linked to the research unit Childhood, Culture & Cognition through my work as a predoctoral researcher on the project Primary Prejudice. My research focuses on the socializing influence of teachers and the ways in which their judgments affect children’s social interactions.
