BRISPO was present at the very first Citizen Science Fair, organised by Scivil, the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences and the European Citizen Science project. It was a great success, even picked up for discussion in the European Parliament.
Petrus te Braak from BRISPO showcased MOMENT-GPS, a citizen science project that explores gendered perceptions of safety in Brussels through GPS tracking and participatory research. How do time, place and identity shape the feeling of safety in public space? MOMENT-GPS invites citizens to share their lived experiences and insights.
