The Société Démographique Francophone de Belgique (SDFB) and the Vereniging Voor Demografie (VVD) invite you to join the 5th edition of the Belgian Demography Day on Friday, 25 April 2025 in Leuven.
Junior PhD students as well as senior scholars in the field of population studies are warmly invited to present their work. D-Day aims to bring together researchers from Belgium and its neighbouring countries, from inside or outside of academia. Of course, researchers from any other country are most welcome to join us in a lively atmosphere!
Participants are expected to present recent findings in the field of population studies, including topics on fertility, mortality, migration, couples' formation and dissolution, ageing, population change, and urbanization. The special topic of the 2025 edition is the connection between population and climate change.
